Miss Jessica
Founder & Director
Born and raised in the UK, Miss Jessica discovered her love for dance and theatre at an early age. Her passion for the performing arts led her to Canada, where she earned her degree in Theatre Performance & Creation. Jessica is also a certified ADAPT Tap & Jazz, Acrobatic Arts, and an IDTS certified teacher.
Impact Dance Company has been Jessica’s dream and driving passion for many years. Now proudly entering Season Two, she continues to pour her heart into building a space where all dancers are welcomed, supported, and inspired to grow — not only as performers but as people.
Jessica’s mission is to make dance accessible, inclusive, and rooted in community. She is incredibly excited to see Impact Dance Company continue to flourish, providing opportunities for dancers of all ages to explore, express, and shine.

Miss Advaitha
Instructor
Advaitha has been dancing for almost 17 years starting when she was just 3 years old. Training in Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. She completely fell in love with it and started competing when she was just 4 years old. After she graduated, she decided she still wanted dance to be apart of her life so she started teaching it! She absolutely loves teaching dance and choreographing with her entire heart so she started to branch out more to create dance related projects. Back in the fall of 2024, she created her first ever dance film concept piece that was selected to be screened for the Calgary Hip Hop and street dance festival! Right now, she’s starting her journey on completing her RAD teacher certification by preparing to take her intermediate ballet exam. She is currently attending the University of Calgary for a double major in sociology and music and will attend an after-degree program to get an education degree to become a high school teacher. Advaitha is so excited to join the Impact team and work with IDC dancers!!

Miss Kennedy
Guest Instructor/Choreographer
Hi, my name is Kennedy! I started dancing when I was 3 years old and I was a competitive dancer for over 15 years. I trained in a variety of styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pointe, contemporary, and acro. I took some time away from dance to attend university and I recently graduated as a respiratory therapist. I am super eager to get back into the dance world. Dance was my safe space growing up and I’ve always had a passion for teaching and dancing with the next generation of dancers! I am so excited to share my love of dance, and create that safe space for other dancers. I look forward to dancing with everyone!
