Miss Maella
Maella’s journey began at a very early age. By the age of six, she was already competing. She dedicated 4 years to performing with The Young Canadians, working alongside Swing Latino, Nick Wallenda, Tatiana Kundik, Loop Rawlins, and many other amazing artists. Her passion for dance led her to work abroad where she spent one month in Egypt, performing in Hurghada at a resort. Her love for travel led her to take on another opportunity with Circo Tihany. This incredible journey took her across Central America, immersing herself in the rich traditions and diverse landscapes of each country. Maella embodies a vibrant teaching style that reflects her passion for dance. She wishes to create an inviting atmosphere dedicated to helping dancers achieve their personal goals. Ensuring that every class is not only enjoyable, but a stepping stone towards personal achievement.

Miss Sarah
Sarah has been dancing since she was 12 years old. Sarah started dancing because she was always a more shy child and dance gave her an outlet to be able to express herself. Dance gave her a sense of confidence that has greatly impacted and shaped the person she is today. Her favourite styles include Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical. While dancing she found she has a passion for teaching and got involved volunteering at her local studio and started assisting teaching and substitute teaching dance classes at 17 years old. Sarah was recognized by her studio for her hard work and was lucky enough to receive an award for her dedication. She also has a love for theatre, she has been working both back and on stage for the past 7 years. She has choreographed 4 productions and absolutely loves being a part of a dance community. Sarah has now completed her certification as an Educational Assistant, and is ecstatic to be joining the IDC team to grow her skills as a dancer and an educator. She is so excited to begin the journey of teaching in such a supportive environment and is grateful to IDC for allowing her this opportunity to continue her love for teaching dance.
